Enayet Karim new GSF President

Bangladeshi sports organizer and economist Dr Enayet Karim has been elected President of United Nations affiliated International sports management organization-Global Sports Federation (GSF). The election was held during 7-8 October in Ahmedabad, India.
Besides Dr. Karim, the candidates of Greece, Australia and Suriname were contested for the top position of the GSF.
Dr. Karim, the Bangladeshi candidate, has chosen by 105 nations out of 158 countries, while Indian candidate Shri Vhikhu N. Patel has got 81 votes and elected as General Secretary. Richard Lawrence of USA has been elected as Vice President.
The other elected directors are: Charles Pais of Canada, Paul Joof of Gambia, Batan Biswas of Sweden, Nancy de Sousa of South Africa, Wayne Lim of Malaysia and Sameera Aziz of Saudi Arabia.
Dr Enayet Karim is presently holding the position of president of Asia-Pacific Sports Federation and Global Economist Forum respectively.
