The biopic of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will showcase popular actress, Elina Shammi to play the role of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. While talking in this regard Elina Shammi told this correspondent, “I signed a contract on Monday to be part of the Bangabandhu biopic movie. I will be playing the role of Begum Khaleda Zia. This will surely be one of the most monumental movies and I am glad to be part of such prestigious history. I will start shooting for my scene from December 6.”
Popular actor Arifin Shuvoo will be portraying the role of Bangabandhu in this movie, along with Nusrat Imrose Tisha as Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa and Nusraat Faria as Sheikh Hasina, among many other noted actors. The associate director of Bangabandhu is Dayal Nihalani, while the script of the movie has been written by Indian screenplay writer Shama Zaidi.
