At first, Elina Shammi won the hearts of many viewers as an anchor. She hosted TV shows so nicely that viewers were eagerly awaited to watch her hosting. Till now while facing the audience she still misses those days when she was regularly anchoring different shows. In fact, viewers want to see Shammi as an anchor. But after starting acting in television dramas, Elina Shammi has become more engaged with acting in movies and web series. Lastly Shammi’s acting got huge appreciation in Iftekhar Shuvo directed movie Mukhosh. Shammi impressed the viewers by virtue of her outstanding performance in role of Neha in this movie. Many viewers appreciated her acting skill.
The actress informed that within few days, after completing shooting of some movies, Elina Shammi starrer and Shyam Benegal directed movie Mujib, Mirza Sakhawat Hossain directed movie Apur Boshonto, Jesmin Akter Nodi’s movie Choitro Dupur, Apurbo Rana’s Jolrong, Anonno Mamun’s Radio, Bondhon Biswas directed movie Chhayabrikkho and Tanvir Hasan’s Moddhyobitto. Therefore, Shammi starrer and Shihab Shahin directed web film Syndicate is going to start publicity soon.
While talking about releasing of her acted movies one after another, Elina Shammi said, “In every cinema, I acted with many hopes because I agreed to work before hearing stories of these movies. While acting I tried to give my level best effort to portray all the characters of these movies. I am very much optimistic about movies Mujib, Tungiparar Dussahoshi Khoka, Choitro Dupur and Apur Boshonto. I am also hopeful about my acted movie Bhaiyare. Story of movie Jolrong, which is based on human trafficking, is very nice. In fact, it was great luck for me to remain into discussion with some movies and web films during corona pandemic.”
“I really miss anchoring. Though I don’t quit anchoring and when I get the scope to host in any big platform, I will surely do it,” she also said. In last Eid, Elina Shammi acted opposite Apurba in special drama The Shoe Box. On the occasion of coming Eid, she has already finished shooting of Shaon directed drama Nagorik.
