An electrician was killed after blasting a grinding machine at his rented residence in Jamgora area of Ashulia on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Salam alias Nayan, 25, electrical superviser BUDS Group, a garment factory in Buribazar area of Ashulia, hailing from Singra upazila of Natore
Following the blast, locals rushed the injured to
nearby Women and Child Health Centre where duty doctor declared him dead.
On information, police rushed to the health centre and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Ashulia Police Station officer-in-charge Abdul Awal said the man was killed in a blast caused by grinding machine.
