An electrician died from electrocution at Nandigram upazila in Bogura district on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rezwan, 18, a resident of Muraridighi village in the upazila. Locals said lineman Rezwan came into contact with a live electric wire while working to connect electricity at the village, leaving him dead on the spot.
