On the occasion of International Women’s Day eight eminent, talented and successful women were honoured in their respective fields given under the banner of ‘Freedom-Persona Ajker Nari powered by Dabur Vatika Hair oil’ on the premises of ACI in the city’s Tejgaon area.
Eminent theatre personality Aly Zaker was present as chief guest at the function, while Senior Fellow of Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Debopriyo Bhattacharya was also present as special guest on the occasion.
However, noted beauty specialist and Managing Director of Persona, Kaniz Almas Khan; Managing Director of ACI Salt and Executive Director of ACI Ltd, Syed Alamgir; Executive Editor of Canvas, Sheikh Saifur Rahman were also present at the ceremony.
The award winners were – Jannatul Mawa (Photography), Tamara Hossain Abed (Social Service), Nishat Majumdar (Sports), Farzana Wahid Shayan (Music), Monowara Hakim Ali (Entrepreneur), Lipi Khandakar (Fashion), Sadika Hasan Sejuti (IT) and Sonia Bashir (Corporate).
