The holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival for the Muslims, was celebrated in different districts with due fervor, joy and enthusiasm on Monday. Our correspondents and agencies report:
Narsingdi Correspondent says:The holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest festival of the Muslims was celebrated here in the district on Monday with due religious fervor and festivity.
The main Eid congregation was held at the callectorate Eidgah abjaent to the local DC office under the auspices of the district administration.
Khatib of court masque Maulana Nasiruddin lead the level officials, leaders of political parties, elite of the town professionals joined the congregation.
The other Eid congregation Were also held at Datta para Eidgah, Chinishpur Eidgah, Narsingdi Government Collage Eidgah, Police line Eidgah ground, Jamea Kashemia Madrasha Eidgah ground, Rangnamaty Eidgah, Shatirpara Eidgah, Baluakandi Madrasha Eidgah, Kaworapara Poura Eidgah Ground, Banichal Sapnar Eidgah, Vhalanogar Eidgah, Shaprotab Eidgah, Chowalla Eidgah, Birpur Eidgah,.
Thausands of muslins offered special munajat seeking divine blessings and peace of the departed soul and continued peace progress and prosperity of the country and muslim Ummah. Deputy commissioner Abuhena Morshed Jaman paid exchange greeting to government officials elite of the town and others at collect orate eidgah and local house, He also exchange greeting to the orphan and disadvantage children.
Barisal Correspondent adds: Eid- ul- Azha was observed in Barisal s with due socio-religious festive moods on Monday.
The main Eid Jamat in Barisal city was held on Hemayet Uddin Eidgah Maidan at 8:30 am with participation of the BCC Mayor, local lawmaker, socio – political personalities, high-ranking government officials as well as general mass and female worshipers.
Double Eid Jamats were arranged in the city centers at Zame Ebaedullah Mosque, Zame Kasai Mosque, Baitul Mokarram Mosque, Zame Kashai Mosque.
More than 150 Eid jamats were also held this year all over the Barisal city area.
Except these main Eid jamats of the city other large Eidprayers of the region were held at Guthia Baitul Aman Mosque, Charmonai Darbar Sharif under Barisal, Nesarabad Darbar Sharif under Jhalakathi, Sharshina Darbar Sharif under Pirojpur, Mirzaganj Mazar Sharif under Patuakhali and Mokamia Madrasha ground under Barguna districts between 8:00-9:30 am.
Mentionable, more than forty-five thousand people of twelve thousand families observed Eid ul Azha on Saturday in accordance with Saudi Arabia and offered Eid Jamats and slaughtered sacrificed-animals in 80 places of 10 upazilas under Barisal, Patuakhali, Bhola, Jhalakati and Barguna districts.
Gouripur ( Mymensingh) Correspondent repots:The holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of the Muslim Ummah, was celebrated with due rituals, sacrifice and solemnity. across Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh district on Monday, October 6.
 During this three-day festival, Muslims were mandated to slaughter designated animals such as sheep, goat, cows, and camels – depending on the availability and cultural norms of the region.
This ‘sacrifice is carried out in commemoration of Prophet Ebrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to Allah. Meanwhile, many people from different places came to their village homes to celebrate the festival with their near endear ones.
 The stage was almost set for smooth holding of Eid prayers in the town of Gouripur and elsewhere. The main Eid congregation was held at Khelar Mathh Eidgah Maidan near the Gouripur Stadium around 9:00am
Important public houses, thoroughfares and road sides of the town were decorated with national flags , gates and banners inscribed with ‘Eid Mubarak.
MP nominee seekers, Leaders of different political parties and people in socio cultural organizations in their messages greeted the people.
BSS from Rajshahi reports: The holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival for the Muslims, was celebrated in Rajshahi city with due fervor, joy, enthusiasm, gaiety and solemnity as elsewhere in the district Monday.
In the morning, streams of people- young, old and children rushed to the nearest eid grounds, mosques and open places and offered their Eid prayers.
The main Eid jamaat was held at Hazrat Shah Mukhdum ® Central Eidgah Moidan at 8am. Principal of Jameya Islamia Shahmukhdum Mufti Muhammad Shahdat Ali conducted the prayers.
Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP, City Mayor Mosaddieque Hossain Bulbul, Commissioner of Rajshahi division Helaluddin Ahemd and Deputy Commissioner Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury offered their Eid prayers along with other dignitaries at the Central Eidgah.
The second largest one was held at City Eidgah (Tikapara) at the same time and the third largest at Shaheb Bazar Zero Point at 8.15 am.
BSS from Rangpur says: The Muslims celebrated their second largest religious festival of Eid-ul-Azha on Monday amid huge enthusiasm, festivity, due religious gaiety, solemnity and sacrificing animals in Rangpur division.
The concerned administrations and authorities ensured peaceful celebrations of the religious festivity through taking necessary steps by deploying adequate number of police, Ansar-VDP, RAB forces and volunteers everywhere.
The Muslims of all ages, attired in traditional Eid-dresses, offered special munajats seeking divine blessings and eternal peace for departed souls of their nearer and continued peace, progress and prosperity of the country, its people and Muslim Ummah.
The national flag was hoisted atop all government, semi-government and private buildings and mosques, eidgahs, streets and major buildings were illuminated and decorated with colourful flags and banners inscribed with Eid Mubarak both in Bangla and Arabic.
Improved diets were served to inmates of all hospitals, jails, shishu paribars, orphanages and vagrant welfare centres in Rangpur, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon and Dinajpur districts in the division.
In Rangpur city, Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) in association with the district administrations arranged 240 Eid jamaats and the main Eid-ul-Azha congregations were held at the Central Collectorate Eidgah at 9 am where high dignitaries took part.
Special Envoy to the Prime Minister, former President and Jatiya Party Chairman Alhaj Hussein Muhammad Ershad, State Minister for LGRD Alhaj Moshiur Rahman Ranga, City Mayor and valiant freedom fighter Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu participated in the main congregations.
Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Kazi Hassan Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Farid Ahammad, President of district Awami League Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, its city unit President Shafiar Rahman Shafi, officials, politicians, academicians, socio-cultural and literary personalities, professionals and elite also participated in the main congregations.

In the morning, streams of people including young, old and children rushed to the nearest eidgahs, mosques and selected open places and offered their Eid-prayers.
The main Eid congregation was held at Central Eidgah Maidan in the town under the auspices of the district administration.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) M. Ehsan-e-Elahi, district level officials, leaders of political parties, elite of the town, professionals and journalists joined the congregation.

In the morning, streams of people- young, old and children- rushed to the nearest eidgah maidans , mosques and open places and offered their Eid prayers.
The main Eid jamaat was held at Joypurhat Central Eidgah Moidan at 8am. Principal of Siddikya Senior Madrasa Abdul Matin conducted the prayers.
Besides, some other big Eid jamaats in the district were held at Joypurhat Sugar Mills, Collectorate Eidgah , Kashiabari Eidgah, Hatil Magnipara Eidgah, Khanjanpur Eidgah .
After the Eid congregations, the Muslim devotees sacrificed their beloved beasts in the name of Almighty Allah.
Joypurhat Pourasabha decorated the important points and road islands of the town with national and colorful flags inscribed with “Eid Mubarak”.
