Eid mood still prevails in Ctg govt offices

Eid warming and mood of the Eid festival is still prevailing in the govt offices and courts in the port city yesterday though the govt offices declared open .
 Different private owned, nonpgovt organizations and the mills and factories declared closed upto tomorrow but the govt offices and courts of Chittagong magistracy and judgeship remained open. The attendance in the govt offices was very negligible .
Those officials that attended in the offices were remained with the exchange of eid greetings each others.
On the other hand, the picture of the Chittagong Port is different . Though the attendance in port office is not remarkable but the workers in the port sheds was abundant and did not hamper the loading unloading of the port. While contacted Deputy conservator of CPA Capt. Nazmul Alam told that the port activities was closed only on Eid day and now the activities is going on full swing. The attendance in Railway east zone office not visible than others but the movement of trains and station office was operative with full swing including average attendances.
 The court building of Chittagong including courts, DC office and Divisional Commisioner’s office run with nomimal officials including poor attendance of lawyers and judges. An official of judgeship of Chittagong on condition of annoymity told that maximum judge and magistrates attended the office but non-proceedings of any suits in respective court, the Judges did not went to Ezlash . Besides, the very poor attendance was witnessed in City corporation office than other offices .
 CCC public relations sources said due to govt holiday on Friday and Saturday , the officials and workers did not return in office yesterday. Nationalised and private banks function as usual and bank transaction continued without any hamper.
