Maria Mohsin :Eid festival is knocking the door, so is the new trend and style of fashion in the country. With the arrival of festive season the arrival of new fashion and trend occurs in Bangladesh. An important part of Ramzan and Eid is shopping and shopping is another name for ladies. So for ladies this festive season brings a huge opportunity for shopping and to play with fashion.In Bangladesh, fashion trends are made and changed during this festival. So, only new comes in this time and whatever come, stays the whole year around as a fashion statement. This is why not for the shopping people only but also for the designers, business people and fashion icons this period is the golden period of the year. Though it’s funny to hear but it is true that girls of almost all ages prepare themselves for one month long in Ramzan to look beautiful only for that one special day. But it’s a fact as a Muslim country and our cultures Bengali girls do not get much opportunity to dress up or makeover herself for special occasion.This year’s Eid fashion is completely different from last year. The trend for this eid is floral pattern. Flowery print is used in every fashion piece this season. From Selwar-Kamiz to Sharee, Lehenga everything includes bright colored flowers. So we can say the flowery and gardeny look is the look of the year for this season. Sharee is now a fashion statement even if for young girls. Floral patterned chiffon, georgette, net sharees are in fashion. Girls of every age prefer to wear sharee now. With this forever long lasting traditional sharees are never going down from fashion trend. Kanchipuram, south katan, Chennai katan, Chennai silk shrees are increasing demand as fashion statement. Next comes the most wear fashion piece of our county. That is Salwar Kamiz. As a Muslim country most of the women of every age now prefer to wear Kamiz on regular basis, which is a huge change in Bangali culture. In Kamiz, long kamiz with plazo pants are in fashion. Girls now prefer one piece Kamiz or Kurti nad pare them with wide and flown Plazo. Different kind of work and design are seen in this kind of fashion trend. Girls like western gown style dress more than traditional dresses this season.Replacing the Anarkali or floor touch dress new trend of anarkali lehenga, long koti with lehenga, skirt style and Sharaha dresses are on demand now. There are a huge variation in the style of these patterns and available design for all age group. Unlike all the previous years, no dress in the name of tv serial character like Pakhi or Kironmala are newly up on fashion this year yet, but the name Sharara is on huge demand. In makeup trend, these festive season bright and shining makeups are in fashion. Using bright colourful lipstick and heavy eye makeup are in now. Girls are paying more attention on perfect eyebrows. In foot wear, colorful prints in different styled foot wear are in fashion. High heels and wedges are in fashion too. The whole get of a leady will be in complete without the jewelry. This fashion season big heavy neck pieces are in fashion. Western style long chain and big antique neck pieces are seen in fashion. With heavy neck pieces girls prefer to wear simple top style earring and big and fashionable finger ring. Jukmka and big heavy earrings of antique style are used only if necklace is not used. From that we get to know people are getting conscious about the number of item they wear to keep the attention of the audience in a single piece of fashion item. One thing is seems to be very common in this Eid that is, no matter what kind of dress or fashion item you chose to buy, you will find it in different print and patterned, specially the floral print. Don’t know about other fashion and trends but this colourful flowery and gradeny look is available for all age and all level of people and it may add a new refreshing energy in the festival . The most important part of the Eid is now is Shopping. Search for new fashion, trend is one of the most important deal of work for every girl in the Eid festive season or we can say the fashion season of the county. The shopping dose not obeys the bound of religion. As it’s the season of new fashion, new design in Bangladesh, so every religion people do the shopping in the same time to get the best. We can say In Bangladesh, Muslim, Hindu, Christen and every other religion people do the Eid Shopping. Though the business people are taking advantage of this fashion crazy season but as its Eid the customers are now use to sacrifice their financial interest and rise the budget to get the best thing in this time.
