The certificate awarding ceremony of Eric Frank Leadership Development program (EFLDP) -2014 was held on Tuesday after 2 months leadership training of about 100 participants at International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) under the auspices of Centre for Management Development (CMD).
A total 36 number of successful participants received prestigious Eric Frank Leadership certificate from the chief guest DD Ghosal, Head of Marketing, Bombay Sweets Ltd, Founder Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan and the coordinator of the program Md Lutfar Rahman at a ceremony in the IUBAT conference hall.
Apart from certificate recipients, the function was largely attended by Coordinators, Faculty members of IUBAT and students of various disciplines of the university.
This is the passing out ceremony of second batch of Eric Frank Leadership Development program while the first batch passed out in 2012, introduced by eminent scout movement leader and Late Professor, Eric Frank of University of Bath, United Kingdom. The distinguished late professor from UK introduced the program at IUBAT in order to develop leadership quality among students who pursue graduation at various disciplines at IUBAT.
The chief guest appreciated the training program which will definitely enhance their visionary power at their professional life in order to motivate people, influence their activities towards objective accomplishment. Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan, Founder Vice Chancellor in his presidential speech reiterated the importance of career planning, grooming of the students as precondition to leadership quality.
