Implementation of the 10 special initiatives of Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina’s is rapidly pushing Bangladesh ahead to build a developed ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The observation came at a daylong workshop on the “Ten special initiatives of PM’s at local Circuit House conference room on Tuesday.
DC in Kishoreganj Mohammad Shamim Alam attended as chief guest while ADC ( Edu.& ICT) Md.Golam Mostafa presided over the workshop.
Zila Parishad Administrator Advocate Zillur Rahman, ADM Farzana Khanam Additional SP (Admin & Finance) Mustaque Sarker and District Awami League (AL) general secretary & Special PP) advocate M. A Afzol were special guests.
At 100 people including officials of the district and upazila administrations, Women leaders journalists, representatives of NGOs and Chamber participated in the event in ten groups.
PM’ s Office Governance Innovation Unit Deputy Director (DD) Md. Arifuzzaman presented a documentary on 10 special initiatives.
The PM’s ten special initiatives are Palli Sanchay Bank (Amar Bari, Amar Khamar), Asrayan Prokalpo, digital Bangladesh, education assistance, women
empowerment, electricity for all, social safety program, community clinic and mental health, investment development and environment protection.
DC Mohammad Shamim Alam said Bangladesh has earned global appreciation for attaining
laudable success in every sector through implementation of the Prime Minister’s ten special initiatives on the way to build a developed country by 2041.
After group discussions, participants made written recommendations, including
challenges of implementing 10 special innovative initiatives at local level and identifying new possibilities and issues that need to be pub.licized.
