Electronics, Electric Engineering Day-2017 was observed at International Islamic University Chittagong(IIUC) yesterday .
IIUC, I EEE Students Branch arranged the programme of IEEE Day .
Vice Chancellor of IIUC Prof KM Golam Mohiuddin was present as Chief Guest on the occasion and said that technology- based knowledge will be improved.
Head of Department of EEE Prof Dr Kazi Delwar Hossain presided over it. The programme of the Day was launched through bringing out of jubilant rally in the morning .
At 11 am , a rally was brought out from Engineering Bhaban and it was ended at central library auditorium of the university.
Councilor and Chairman of IEEE of IIUC Mohammed Ataharuddin presided over the function
Pro Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr.Md. Delwar Hossain also spoke as special guest on the occasion.
Among the speakers, Dean of Science and Engineering Department Dr. Monirul Islam,Member Board of Trustee Principal Mohammed Taher,Mentor of Students Branch Miah Imtiaz Zulkarnian and Chair person of Student Council were present at the function.
General Secretary of IIUC Students’ Council Maruful Hasan Sabbir acted as moderator .
Another report adds: Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) yesterday observed ‘EEE Day 2017’ with colorful spectrum.
On Monday the colorful procession emerged from the front of theElectronic and Engineering Engineering( EEE ) department at 10:30 in the morning. Teachers and students and employees of CUET circumambulated with Festoon-banner in the whole campus.
CUET Vice Chancellor Mohammad RafiqulAlam inaugurated the day-long programme.
Discussion meeting held in the Central Auditorium of CUET. In speech, the Vice-Chancellor said that the students are given basic idea about all the subjects through education and research. The rest have to achieve themselves. Later they had to show their performance in the career. That’s why everyone has to be ready.
Healso said that to build CUET as a ‘Center of Excellence’, the students will have to prove their skills and competencies in the workplace as well as the teachers. The current administration is working to give all the facilities to CUET students who can prepare themselves as world-class engineers.

Md. AtiqurRahmanAhad, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Dhaka University, was the chief speaker on the seminar titled ‘Research Methodology for Young Researchers’ held in the seminar room of EEE department.
The day-long program included the new farewell and old farewell, a cultural show,game events and courtesy Football match for teachers and students .
