UNB, BarisalMiscreants set fire to the divisional office of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) in the city early Thursday.Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, director of the DSHE in Barisal, said miscreants set fire to two rooms of the office by pouring petrol around 12:10 am.Later, local people extinguished the fire.A computer, a printer, some furniture and documents of the office were damaged in the arson attack. Later, a team of police of Barisal Kotwali police station visited the spot and recovered two bottles of petrol.Police raided the houses of some local leaders and activists of BNP-Jammat after the incident.
