Tech-focused logistics company eCourier and insurance aggregator Carnival Assure have brought parcels under insurance coverage for delivery across the country in pickup service. Customers can take the insurance coverage when booking parcels in the ‘Person to Person’ category for delivery service, the company said in a press release. Sena Kalyan Insurance Company (SKICL) will provide the insurance while digital insurance platform Carnival Assure aggregates the service, it said. To this end, a tri-party agreement was signed on Wednesday to develop the innovative service. SKICL Chief Executive Officer Brig Gen Shafique Shamim (Retd), Director Carnival Assure and Dotlines Group Mohiuddin Rasti Morshed and eCourier Chief Executive Officer Biplob Ghosh Rahul were present on the occasion.
