The Election Commission (EC) on Thursday appointed 20 executive magistrates to ensure election code of conduct to six Khulna constituencies ahead of the 11th parliament election.
According to District Administration, 11 executive magistrates have been appointed to 31 wards of KCC under Khulna 2 and 3 constituencies while nine were appointed in nine upazilas under Khulna 1, 4, 5 and 6 constituencies.
Confirming their appointments, Returning Officer and deputy commissioner of Khulna Md Helal Hossain told BSS, that the appointment has been made Thursday by directive of the EC.
He said, EC published the list of executive magistrates across country including 20 for Khulna.
