Gopal Chandra (GC) Biswas, a retired Deputy Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh, suffered a massive cardiac arrest on last Sunday noon. He underwent a surgical cardiac intervention at a private hospital in the city successfully. He is now convalescing at his own residence in the city, says a press release.
