Dutch company to invest $4.41m in AEPZ

The Netherlands owned company M/s. Lintas Bangladesh Co. Ltd. is going to setup a garments factory in Adamjee Export Processing Zone (AEPZ), according to a press release.
This will be the 6th venture from Netherlands in EPZs of Bangladesh.  
This company will invest US$ 4.41 million for producing 14.46 million pieces of lingerie, swimwear & nightwear per annum. Lintas Bangladesh will create employment opportunity for 2565 Bangladeshi & 14 foreign nationals.
An agreement to this effect signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s Lintas Bangladesh Co. Ltd. in BEPZA Complex on Thursday. Abdul Halim Molla, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Willem van Helden, Managing Director of M/s. Lintas Bangladesh Co Ltd signed the agreement on their respective organizations behalf.
Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Md. Mosaddeque Ali, Member (Engineering), Zillur Rahman, ndc, Member (Finance), Md. Shawkat Nabi, Secretary, Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (PR) and Ahsan Kabir, General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
