RAB forces in Chittagong conducted mobile court against selling of duplicate mobile sets and memory cards in the posh super market- Sanmar Ocean city on Sunday .
In their raids, six mobile set shop owners fined with Tk.5 lakh for stocking duplicate mobile sets and memory sets .
Besides, oneshop owner Hasan Abdullah Jayed was also arrested for selling the porno CD and DVD and convicted him with six months imprisonment by mobile court. In presence of Executive Magistrate , these seized CD and DVD were destroyed on the spot.
The convicted shops are – Nexus Net, Chittagong Electronics, Femous Phone, Ahad Electronics, Micron and Ayat Phones. In the drive, 302 duplicate mobile sets, 116 fake memory cards worth about Tk.1.20 crores seized , sources said.
