A new committee of Dupchanchia Upazila Press Club was formed for a year at the annual conference in Dupchanchia on Friday.
Before declaration new committee, a discussion meeting was held presided over by Golam Faruq while Municipality Mayor Belal Hossain speaking as Chief Guest in the club premise. Md Emdadul Haque, AKM Zahangir Alom, Matiur Rahman Dewan Polash, Baharam Hossain, Saju Mondal and Azizul Haque spoke among others.
Later, Golam Faruq (Daily Karatoa) President, Belal Hossain (Amar Desh) Vice President, Belal Hossain (Alo Protidin) Secretary, Saju Mondal (Sandha Bany) and Firoz Hossain, Joint Secretaries, Md Emdadul Haque (The New Nation) Office Secretary, Matiur Rahman Dewan Polash, Ligature Secretary and Romendranath Podder as Treasury Secretary were unanimously declared.
