Due to inclement weather in the Bay, a coal laden coaster vessel MV Heraparbat sank in the Bay near Sangu Gas Field while proceeding towards Dhaka . Naval and Coast Guard forces working to rescue the vessel and the missing 12 crew on board of coaster.
