Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman has left Dhaka yesterday for London, UK on a 5-day official visit at the invitation of the Association of Commonwealth University (ACU), says a press release.
Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman will attend Trustee Briefing, Executive Committee Meeting, Council Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ACU to be held on December 02-03, 2019 in London. He is expected to hold bilateral talks of mutual interests especially on higher education, research and scholarship programs with ACU authorities.
He is expected to return home on December 05, 2019. Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Samad in addition to his duties will discharge routine works of the Vice-Chancellor during Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman’s visit to UK.
It may be mentioned here that DU VC Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman was elected Council Member of ACU in July last this year.
