Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique expressed profound shock at the death of mass communication expert and noted journalist Prof Khairul Bashar.
In a condolence message on Monday, the DU VC said in his (Bashar) death the country has lost a sincere journalist and world renowned mass communication expert.
“His death is an irreparable loss in the field of mass communication and journalism. His contribution to the country and world will be remembered for long,” he added.
Arefin prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
