Dhaka University (DU) has chalked out an elaborate programme to observe the 39th death anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam tomorrow.
The day’s programme will begin with Qurankhawani after Fajr prayers at DU Central Mosque.
As part of the programme, students, teachers, officers and employees of the university will gather on Arts Building premises and place wreaths and offer Fateha led by DU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at the grave of the poet at 7:15am.
A discussion meeting will be arranged on the premises of the grave on this occasion with the VC in the chair.
DU Bangla Department Chairman Prof Dr. Begum Akhter Kamal will conduct the function.
