Dhaka University (DU) Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies (IDMVS) will observe the ‘World Environment Day 2017’ in a befitting manner today. Marking the day, a rally will be brought out from Aparajeya Bangla premises at 10 am and a debate competition on ‘Youth Climate Parliament Environment Debate’ will be held at RC Mazumder Auditorium on the campus at 10.30 am, said a press release.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique will attend the programmes as chief guest while Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon will inaugurate the rally, the release added.
