Dhaka University authorities Central Coordination Committee and different sub-committee decided to observe the ‘Amar Ekushey -2019’ and International Mother Language Day in a befitting manner.
The decision was taken at a joint conference of the committees held on Wednesday on the campus with DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman in the chair, said a press release.
DU Treasurer Prof Dr Kamal Uddin, Dean of the Earth and Environmental Sciences Faculty and President of DU Teachers’ Association (DUTA) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal ,DUTA Vice-President Prof Dr Md Imdadul Hoque and General Secretary Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam and senate and syndicate members, deans of different faculties, provosts of the halls, chairmen of various departments, directors of different institutes, representatives of teachers, leaders of officials were present on the occasion.
