A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of University of Dhaka (DU) and the Ernst and Young LLP (EY), a business management consultant firm in Gurgaon, India, to implement the Middle Management Training Programme (MMTP).
DU Treasurer Professor Kamal Uddin and EY Project Director Bidyut Kanti signed the MoU at a function on Thursday at DU Treasurer’s office on the campus on behalf of their respective sides, said a DU press release.

Ridwanul Haq and Acting Registrar Enamuzzaman were present at the function, among others.
According to the MoU, IBA of DU and EY, India will work together to implement “Middle Management Training Programme”.
EY will provide technical expertise and financial assistance while IBA will issue certificates to all successful participants of the programme.
Bangladesh Computer Council of the ICT Division of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology has introduced a project titled “Middle Management Training Programme” for the development of the country’s IT industry, the release added.
