Japanese embassy in Bangladesh honoured Mahmudul Haque, honorary Professor of Dhaka University (DU) by conferring him with “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon”.
The conferral is in recognition of his great contribution to strengthening cultural exchange through promoting modern art both in Japan and Bangladesh, said a press release from Japanese embassy on Tuesday.
