An orientation function for the first year students of Biological Sciences Faculty and Engineering and Technology
Faculty of Dhaka University under academic session 2017-18 was held on the sixteenth instant at the Teacher Student Centre (TSC) auditorium.
DU Students Counseling and Guidance (SCG) office organised the programme
while Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the university Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman addressed it as the chief guest.
DU SCG Director Professor Mahjabeen Haque presided over the function.
Welcoming the newcomers, Prof Akhtaruzzaman asked them to utilize the existing facilities of the university to become worthy citizens of the nation.
He also urged them to uphold patriotism, honesty, integrity and humanity to take the country forward.
Biological Sciences Faculty Dean Dr Md Imdadul Hoque and Engineering and Technology Faculty Dean Dr Md Hasanuzzaman also addressed the function.
