The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) authorities on Thursday announced five-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr.
A DSE press release said the share transaction and the office of the stock exchange will remain closed from July 27 to July 31 on occasion of holy Eid-ul- Fitr.
The office of the stock exchange and the share trading, however, will resume on August 3 as the first two days of the next month fall in Friday and Saturday.
The office will remain open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm after the Eid holiday when the share transaction will be from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm as before Ramadan.
Share transactions are now being held between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm while the office is open from 9:30 am to 4 pm.
