Key share price index in the country’s premier bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained marginally while that of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) suffered loss on Thursday, the last day of the week’s trading.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 9.91 points or 0.21 percent to reach 4642.37 at the close of trading on the day. Of the 295 issues traded, 185 gained, 88 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 602.28 crore changed hands at the DSE on Thursday.
