DSE, CSE indices lose Sunday

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)’s indices of key share price witnessed fall on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
The DSE key index, DSEX dropped 49.64 points or 1.09 percent to close at 4514.85 on the day. Of the 317 issues traded, 48 gained, 242 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 267.84 crore changed hands at the DSE on Sunday as against Tk 456.05 crore on Thursday.
Samata Leather Complex was the top loser at Dhaka bourse while other companies on the top ten loser list were Hakkani Pulp & Paper, Kohinoor Chemicals, Fine Foods, BD Welding Electrodes, Zeal Bangla Sugar Mills, Aziz Pipes, Kay and Que, Imam Button, and Shinepukur Ceramics.
The top five turnover leaders at the DSE were Khulna Power Company, Lafarge Surma Cement, Ifad Autos, Samorita Hospital and KDS Accessories.
