Key share price index at country’s twin bourses -Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – continued positive trend at the closing on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 31.19 points or nearly 0.65 percent to close at 4841.72 on the day. Of the 306 issues traded, 219 gained, 57 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 325.988cr changed hands at the DSE on Thursday as against Tk. 346.09cr on Wednesday.
The CSE key index, CSCX gained 55.02 points to reach 8979.16 at close on Thursday. Of the 244 issues traded, 177 advanced, 42 suffered loss and 25 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues was Tk 28.62 crore at the CSE on the day.
