DSE, CSE index lose on Monday

Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses -Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — suffered loss on Monday, the 2nd trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX shed 14.31 points or nearly 0.29 percent to close at 4878.65 on the day. Of the 304 issues traded, 119 gained, 146 suffered loss and 39 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues was Tk 238.58 crore at the DSE on Monday as against Tk 200.59 crore on Sunday.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were EBL NRB Mutual Fund, R N Spinning Mills, Aziz Pipes, MBL 1st Mutual Fund, Exim Bank 1st Mutual Fund, Meghna Pet Industries, Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries, Rahim Textile, 7th ICB Mutual Fund, and Hamid Fabrics.
The CSE key index, CSCX lost 15.16 points to reach 9152.76 at close on the day. Of the 248 issues traded, 88 advanced, 130 suffered loss and 30 remained unchanged.
