DSCSC graduation dinner held

The graduation dinner of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) course ‘DSCSC 2013 – 2014’ was held on Thursday at officers Mess of the College at Mirpur Cantonment. Chief Justice Md Muzammel Hossain graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Among others, Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib, Acting Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Abu Esrar, Defence Attaches of the representatives countries, civil sponsors of the overseas student officers, other military and civil officials attended the Graduation Dinner.
This year, in the ‘DSCSC 2013 – 2014’ course total 188 officers including 100 officers from Bangladesh Army, 23 officers from Bangladesh Navy, 21 officers from Bangladesh Air Force and 44 overseas officers from China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kuwait, Liberia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philipines, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Turkey, USA and Zambia will be graduating from this College.
In his speech, chief guest congratulated all graduating student officers for successful completion of the course. Further-more he expressed his satisfaction over high standard of training imparted at DSCSC. He highlighted the important role of DSCSC in the field of Armed Forces Officers training and expected that the College will continue its high standard of training curriculum in future also. Commandant of the College Major General Sajjadul Haque delivered his welcome speech. In his speech the Commandant expressed thanks to the faculty and staff of the college for their relentless hard work to make the course a success.
