Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted that weather would remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am yesterday.
Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Cumilla, Sitakunda, Srimangal, Rajshahi, Pabna, Noagaon, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kumarkhali, and it may abate at some places, said a Met office bulletin issued here.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 29 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar, while Monday’s minimum temperature was 7.8 degree Celsius in Tetulia and Jashore.
