Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24-hour commencing 9 am on Monday. However, there are chances of having rain or thunder showers at one or two places over Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country during the period, a Met office bulletin said.
The highest temperature in the country was recorded 29.4 degrees Celsius at Patuakhali in Barishal division on Sunday, while Monday’s minimum temperature was 10.0 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga in Khulna division. The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6 am on Monday was recorded 27 mm at Dhaka.
