Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky and light to moderate fog at some places over the country in 24 hours as of 9 am today. “Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country while light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from late night to today’s morning,” said a BMD press release here on Saturday morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, the release added. The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 29.8 degrees Celsius on Friday at Sitakunda in Chattogram and minimum temperature was 12.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday at Srimangal in Sylhet division.
