Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted dry weather over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am yesterday.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy to cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Friday morning.
It also predicted light rain or drizzling at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and adjoining areas, and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall by one to two Celsius over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 31.3 degree Celsius in Chattogram, while Friday’s minimum temperature was 9 degree Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
