Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday predicted that rain may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am yesterday.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
“Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi ,Pabna, Nagaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamary, Panchagarah, Jashore and Kushtia and it may continue at some places over the country, ” said a Met office bulletin issued here.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning.
Night and day temperature may rise by one or two degree Celsius over the country.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded as 27.2 degree Celsius in Sylhet while Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 5.2 degree Celsius in Tetulia.
