Hemp, yaba and 5 mobile phones were found in the lungi of an inmate named Bulbul Islam of Kashimpur Central Jail after appearing in the court. On Sunday (July 17) around 7:30 in the evening, the prison authorities searched the body of the prisoner and found these goods. Bulbul Islam is an inmate of Kashimpur Central Jail-1.
According to prison sources, Bulbul Islam was sent to Dhaka Judge Court on Sunday morning. After the court attendance, he was again brought back to prison. Later his body was searched at the gate of Kashimpur Central Jail-1. Meanwhile, the prison authorities found 25 pieces of yaba, 300 grams of hemp and 5 mobile phone sets from inside his lungi. Tariqul Islam, Jailer of Kashimpur Central Jail-1 district, has confirmed the matter. He said that action will be taken against him as per the jail code.
