Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a raid arrested a drug trader with foreign beer and wine from city’s Patenga area in the early hours of yesterday.
The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Saber, 26, hailed from Chunnupara village under Anwara upazila of the district.
Being informed, a team of RAB-7 raided the area and arrested Saber with 44 cans of foreign beer and 14 bottles of foreign wine at around 12.30 am, said ASP Mimtanur Rahman, Assistant Director (Media) of RAB-7.A case was filed in this connection and the arrested was handed over to police.
