Brother Ronald Drahozal, CSE, Executive Director of the leading drug rehabilitation centre APON, has been honoured marking his 55 years role in drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation in the country.
He received the accolade at a function at Kazi Nazrul Islam High School at Baira in Singair upazila of Manikganj district on Monday.
At the function arranged by the school authority on the occasion of ” Anti drug Campaign and Awareness Month-2017, Ronald Drahozal also handed over prizes to the meritorious and GPA-5 securing students.
Ronald Drahozal pioneered drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation in the country through establishing “APON”
His philanthropic service covers not only Manikganj district but extends all over Bangladesh.
Singair Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sheikh Zahidul Islam, Assistant Director of Narcotics Control Department, Manikganj, Azizul Haque, Baira union parishad chairman Dewan Zinnah Lathu, headmaster of the school Harun Rashid and councilor of Apon Asaduzzaman Jewel were present, among others.
