One drug peddler was killed with the cross firing between the RAB and miscreants in Chittagong. The incident occurred at Ice Factory road within the premises of Barisal colony in front of a Madrasha under Kotwali thana in the city at early morning yesterday and the drug peddler identified as Md. Faruk.
RAB forces recovered 2 lakh pcs of Yaba and arms from his possession. The news of the incident was confirmed by the Senior Asstt. Director (Media) of RAB Mitanur Rahman to the media yesterday. Sources said acting on secret information, RAB forces conducted raid in the area at early dawn and at one stage drug peddler Faruk killed with encounter . Faruk hails from Patiya, sources said. Filing of case is under process till writing this report.
