RAB-7 in Chittagong arrested one drug peddler from Akbar Shah thana area in city on early morning on Tuesday .
Intoxicated 30 thousand yaba tablets were recovered from his possession . The drug peddler identified as Mostafizur (57) who hails from Latifpur Swapna Bilas residential area under Akbar shah thana . The approximate cost of these yaba tablets is about Tk.1.20 cr, sources said. Asstt. Director of RAB Chandan Devnath told that acting on secret information, the conducted raid in the area led by Senior ASP Shaheda Sultana.
The detained drug peddler confessed that he is involved with the drug trafficking since long. A case under narcotics act lodged with the concerned police station,sources said.
