Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 arrested a drug peddler with 300 pieces of yaba tablets from a residential hotel of Faridpur town on Sunday night.
RAB sources said, on secret information a team of the elite force raided a hotel at Goalchamat area in the town and picked up a drug peddler with the yaba. RAB also recovered two cell phones from his possession.
The arrested was identified as Nurul Islam, 32 hailing from Nagarkanda upazilla.
During the interrogation, Nurul Islam confessed to RAB that he is a professional drug peddler. Later he was handed over to Kotwali police for legal actions.
