Members of the Narcotics Control Department (NCD) in a drive arrested a drug peddler with 10,000 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from city’s Agrabad area last morning.
The arrested was identified as Ali Hossain, son of Shofor Mulluk, hailed from Dudhkumra area under Anowara upazila of the district.
A team of NCD on secret information detained him with the yaba from Southland Centre at city’s Agrabd area under Double Mooring thana around 10.30am, said Idris Ali, an officer of the intelligence unit of NCD, Chittagong.
