The Draw ceremony of the DRU Media Cup Cricket Tournament was held at the Sagar-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Wednesday.
The DRU Media Cup Cricket Tournament will begin at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium from October 30.
The New Nation will take on The Independent, Jago News 24.com will face Share Bizz, Alokito Samay will play against Sangbad Protidin, Sangram will meet New Age, SA TV will face UNB, Ekattor TV will play against Observer, BSS will meet Kalbela, and Jugantor will take on Korotowa on the opening day.
Regarding this ensuing cricket competition, a press conference was held at the Sagar-Runi Auditorium on the same day.
General Secretary of DRU Raju Ahmed, Sports Secretary Mojibur Rahman, Office Secretary Mehedi Azad Masum, Welfare Secretary Md Jelany Milton, Member Secretaries of the Sub-Committee of Sports Aminul Haque Mallick, Kazi Shahidul Alam were present at the draw ceremony and the conference.
A total of 48 print, electronic, online media houses will take part on the knock out basis tournament.
