Draw ceremonies of SAFF U-18 & U-15 Women’s Championships held

The draw ceremonies of SAFF Under-18 & Under-15 Women’s Championships were held at the conference room in BFF House on Saturday. General Secretary of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Anwarul Haque Helal and General Secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Md Abu Nayeem Shohag conducted the draw ceremonies.
A total of seven teams will take part in the SAFF Under-18 Women’s Championship scheduled to be held from September 28 to October 7. India, Sri Lanka and Maldives have been billed in Group-A, while Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan have been taken place in Group-B.
Bangladesh will take on Bhutan on September 29, the Tigresses will face Pakistan on October 1, Bangladesh will meet Nepal on October 3.
The champions of Group-A will face the runners-up of Group-B in the first semifinal on October 5, while the champions of Group-B will meet the runners-up of Group-A in the second semi-final on the same day.
The winners of the semi-finals will face each other in the final on October 7.
Meanwhile, A total of six teams will compete in the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship scheduled to be held at Thimphu in Bhutan from August 9 to August 18.
India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka have been placed in Group-A, while Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan have been billed in Group-B.
Bangladesh will take on Pakistan on August 9, the Tigresses will play against Nepal on August 13.
The champions of Group-A will meet the runners-up of Group-B in the first semi-final on August 16, while the champions of Group-B will play against the runners-up of Group-A in the second semi-final on the same-day.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on August 18.
