Dr Kamal visits Khaleda’s Gulshan office

Staff Reporter :President of Gono Forum Dr Kamal Hossain visited BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in the city on Friday evening.He went there to console the BNP Chief following the death of her younger son Arafat Rahman Koko. He spent sometime with Khaleda Zia in the office. He also signed the condolence book kept with the office. Coming out of the office, Dr Kamal told the reporters that he visited the office to convey sympathy to Khaleda Zia and her family members. “We did not come here to discuss any political issue,” he said. He, however, said that they were trying together to resolve the ongoing crisis. Dr Kamal entered the office of the BNP Chief along with his party’s General Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu and former Awami League MP Sultan Mohammad Monsur. Later, convener of Nagorik Oikya Mahmudur Rahman Manna also entered the office. All of them, lift the office together. Meanwhile, a team of the leaders of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) also visited the Gulshan office in the afternoon and signed the condolence book. Led by its president Dr AKM Azizul Haque, the DAB members also visited the grave of Arafat Rahman Koko at Banani and offered fateha there.
