Nova Tasha of DPS STS School emerged unbeaten champion in boys class 5 to 10 group of the DPS STS Interschool Chess Tournament held on Friday at the at DPS STS School at Uttara.
On the other hand, Raida Atandrila of DPS STS School emerged unbeaten champion in the girls class 5 to 10 group.
Rameen Ahmed of DPS STS School became unbeaten champion in boys’ class 3 to 4 group and Zaeef Chowdhury of same school became runner-up. Rameen and Zaeef both earned 4.5 points each out of 5 games and their tie was broken by tie-breaking system.
Musfica Zannat Sawri of Oasis Children’s Home emerged unbeaten champion in girls’ class 3 to 4 group while Safin Yasir of DPS STS School became the unbeaten champion in class KG to 2 group.
